The Greene County Animal Farm, a no-kill shelter
Outside of ASU, I volunteer for a no-kill animal
shelter,
The Greene County Animal Farm. We have
dogs, cats, pigs, and horses for adoption. As
a no-kill shelter, we do not euthanize any adoptable
animal. When we have the funds, we treat
animals with illnesses like heartworm so they
can be adopted into loving homes.
Adoption Application After you make an excellent selection from our
Great Adoptable Pet List (you really can't go
wrong), please fill out an Adoption Application.
The Adoption Application is your first step to
becoming the new owner of a great pet!
Please allow 24 hours minimum for us to contact you.
After 48 hours, if you are curious at the status of
your application, please call Director Brenda at
870-240-8117.
Volunteers Because we are an all-volunteer
organization (including the Director!), we are in
constant need of volunteers.
Volunteers could help at the shelter, an adoption
day, and/or the rummage sale Volunteers are needed
for transporting animals, fundraising efforts,
mailing out newsletters, etc.

All your donations are tax-deductible as The Greene
County Animal Farm is a non-profit organization.

Saturday Rummage
Sales As part of our on-going fundraising efforts, we
have rented space at the Farville Flea Market on Rt. 49N. On most
Saturdays, the place will be staffed with a
volunteer.
Please donate items for our rummage sales! All
items will be accepted, and they are tax-deductible
for you! Please call Brenda at 870-240-8117 to
arrange a drop-off/pick-up.
iGive.com: Online Shopping for Good! We are initiating a new on-line fundraiser through
igive.com. This costs nothing for you and
still helps us! You can register for free at

and select The Animal Farm (Paragould, AR) as your
cause. There are over 400 internet companies/stores,
including Barnes and Noble, the Radisson Hotels,
eBay, Patagonia, OfficeMax, etc., that will donate a
percentage of your purchase to The Animal Farm.
(If you are a Windows user, you can just download
the shopping window and it will track your purchases. If you are a Mac user,
you will need to go through the igive.com to get to
the store for your purchase to count towards The
Animal Farm.)
We have recently partnered with
1-800-PetMeds. With every purchase by a
new and unique customer**, we receive a 10% donation
from

By law, donations can not be made for
prescription-required medications. However,
everything else (toys, treats, health and
nutritional supplies, and other non-prescription
products) is eligible.
