Dr. Stroud is currently writing an
article entitled "Platted Lands Problems in Oregon:
From Sagebrush Subdivisions to Coastal Resorts"
based on fieldwork that he conducted in Oregon
during 2001 and 2003. The summer of 2003 also
included research on the "removal" of a large
antiquated subdivision in the western Everglades
ecosystem that will help restore the natural water
regimen. The early draft of this "working paper" is
entitled "Subdivision 'Removal' Required for
Restoration of Natural Water Regimen in Western
Everglades Ecosystem."
