Assistantships in Environmental Science
Opportunities for research and teaching
assistantships (M.S. and Ph.D.) are available for
qualified graduate student applicants in the
Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences
The program offers competitive stipends, tuition
waivers, and other benefits.
The program has active ongoing basic and applied
research programs in all emphasis areas (biological,
chemical, geological, engineering, policy, law, and
economics), with strong field- and lab-based
interdisciplinary research components. Program
resources include extensive laboratory and
state-of-the-art analytical and ecotoxicology
testing facilities.
The location of the program at the Arkansas
Biosciences Institute provides ready access to
state-of-the-art chemical and molecular
instrumentation and collaborative opportunities with
a myriad of federal agencies (ORNL, ONR, DOD, USGS,
EPA).
