In addition to teaching lecture courses in Geochemistry,
Hydrogeology, Mass Spectrometry, and Quantitative Analysis WRL Labs
offers training to users of our analytical facilities free of
charge. Students and faculty from academic institutions as
well as federal and state agency employees are welcome to visit our
laboratories and be trained on the use of the analytical instruments
as well as be trained in age and growth of fishes.

WRL students and faculty are actively involved with the Research
Internships in Science of the Environmental REU program at ASU.
In addition to mentoring undergraduate students WRL personnel work
with high school students and teachers on a variety of projects
including Science Fair projects.
WRL sponsors several seminars and workshops each year. We
work collaboratively with AR Game and Fish commission to provide
seminars for their employees as well as workshops for university
faculty and students on proposal writing and science ethics.
