The Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences is a dynamic program linking Colleges and Departments throughout the University through cross-disciplinary research in the Environmental Sciences.  As such a great deal of events on campus are of interest to our students and faculty.

Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Bouldin who was named 2008 Educator of the Year by the Arkansas Water Environment Association.  The James Bailey Memorial Award is awarded to an Arkansan who strives to inspire fellow Arkansans with an enthusiasm and desire to protect the state's water environment, understand environmental issues and further environmental education.

Public Forums

Faculty in the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences actively participate in public education through the weekly Sunday Science series in the Jonesboro Sun as well as on KASU Radio (91.9 FM) and TV.  For information please contact Dr. Al Romero.
